Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actress and member of SSC's board since 2011, is the founding co-artistic director and artistic director of the newly created theatre firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until the end of 2019. As the artistic director of SSC she also served as the composer/music supervisor for the company as well as a Text teacher. Although she usually led from the stage of the troupe but in her last season at SSC she became a director and lighting designer. In addition to acting, she's also been involved in several game programs. She was raised with siblings and two brothers within Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's poetess wife Marylee Post. She attended Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. The school she attended briefly was Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Post was married prior to Stephen Knox. Her daughters are married to writer/actress Michael A. Ross, who she got married to in 1982. Post she is an outstanding actor and a wonderful wife and mother has been a role model for the majority of Hollywood famous actors.
